Terms of Service

JLK Creative is a registered Danish sole proprietorship providing web development, brand strategy, and digital consulting services. All services are subject to these terms and conditions.

All prices on jlkcreative.dk are listed in DKK including 25% Danish VAT unless otherwise explicitly stated. For business customers, the net price excluding VAT is shown in parentheses. We reserve the right to adjust prices and are not liable for typographical errors.

Upon project initiation, clients receive secure access to our Client Portal dashboard. This portal provides up-to-date project tracking, brand strategy reviews, and direct communication channels. Deliverables are provided digitally through the portal. You'll be personally contacted when major milestones are reached or when your input is needed. Timeline estimates are provided in good faith but may be adjusted based on client feedback cycles and scope changes. Major milestones require client approval through the dashboard before proceeding to the next phase.

JLK Creative's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses. While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Client Portal or delivered websites. We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by Danish law.

Clients may cancel projects with 14 days written notice. Refunds are calculated based on work completed to date. Discovery phase fees are non-refundable once the initial consultation has occurred. For ongoing maintenance contracts, cancellation requires 30 days notice. Any custom development work completed prior to cancellation remains billable.

Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of custom code, designs, and brand assets created specifically for their project. JLK Creative retains the right to showcase completed work in portfolios and case studies unless a non-disclosure agreement specifies otherwise. Third-party licenses (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their original terms. Source code and proprietary frameworks developed by JLK Creative remain our intellectual property but are licensed to the client for their use.

Client data accessed through the portal is encrypted and stored securely in compliance with GDPR. We collect only essential information required for project delivery: contact details, business information, and project-specific data submitted through discovery forms. Clients can request data export or deletion at any time through their dashboard settings. We do not sell or share client data with third parties except as required for service delivery (e.g., hosting providers). Session data and analytics are anonymized. If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us immediately at hello@jlkcreative.dk. We commit to responding within 48 business hours. If we cannot resolve the issue internally, disputes may be escalated to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) or resolved through mediation. For business clients, disputes are subject to Danish commercial law and the jurisdiction of Danish courts.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be contacted directly regarding material changes. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Previous versions of these terms are archived and available upon request.

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts. For consumer clients, mandatory consumer protection laws apply regardless of these terms.
